Bug Description

It would be useful if the user was able to match some network/SSID to a backup routine. If i'm using samba as copy method I'd like backups to be made on my home LAN or work but not on public wireless networks.

You can get close to this. Deja Dup will delay a backup until it can reach the host. So if you have a DNS name like "workcomputer" and use that for your samba backups, Deja Dup will wait until a "workcomputer" is resolvable.

I guess is not deja-dup only problem. Is more like a design problem: if I move around with my laptop I cannot expose its contents everywhere. So, if anyone has a NAS called 'iomega' which holds a 'backups' folder it will have my backups there?
On windows for example there's that anoying 'choose what kind of network is this we are attaching to' dialog that avoids (at least theoretically) exposing your services/data on public places. That's the kind of thing I had in mind when filling the bug.
