Bug Description

I looked in the control panel today and I had a bunch of device entries for my old Galaxy Nexus phone which I no longer have. When I go to remove this entry, from my laptop (caprica), it annoyingly seems to also remove my local system (caprica) or perhaps it is just forcing me to sign in again. Either way it makes no sense. Why can't I remove Device B while signed into Device A without reconnecting Device A?

I've made a desktop video of this happening, but it should be easy to repro. Simply open U1 Control Panel and remove any device.

Hello, and thanks for reporting this, it helps us improve Ubuntu One.

You seem to have misunderstood the way that part of the control panel works. Basically, you can see the authorized devices, but the "remove" button is only meant to remove the local device, which is displayed next to it.

To remotely remove other devices, please use the Ubuntu One website.
