Bug Description
Example: Using a RadeonHD 4x00 card on Precise/12.04 with fglrx works well. However, fglrx dropped support in newer releases for those cards, and the version of fglrx in Ubuntu Quantal/12.10 does not support those cards. When doing a distro upgrade, update-manager does not consider that the new version of fglrx may not support the card. As a result, user is left with a broken X after the upgrade.
Possible Solution: Make upgrade manager a bit more intelligent. It should not blindly upgrade fglrx if the card is not supported on the version of fglrx in the new release.
