Bug Description
Toward the beginning of the upgrade-
On this machine (having a 1024 x 768 pixel monitor), when I expanded the list to see what packages were going to be removed, the window expanded to where the button allowing me to proceed with the upgrade, was below the bottom of the screen, so it couldn't be clicked-on.
un-expanding the list did not restore the window to its former size, in which the buttons were visible.
I moved the window to the top of the screen, but the portion of the window with the buttons was still below the bottom of the screen. Iconifying the window, and restoring it did not help. I did not (then) know the trick of holding down the "Alt" key and clicking anywhere in the window to drag it upward. The missing portion of the window was not visible anywhere in Desktop 2 either.
My only option with what I knew then, was to close the upgrade window, aborting the upgrade, and start again, which did work. The upgrade was ultimately successful.
