Bug Description

The payer crashses as soon as I click on the "Google" button (which should initiate a Google OpenID-based login) in the Groovshark login window (see attached screenshot showing the respective scenario).

OS: Ubuntu 10.04 LTS (fully up to date)

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug.

This beta version has been superseded by a stable release, you might
want to upgrade to version 1.1.1 [1].

Note to self: Reproducible also with NP 1.1.1, not tested with NP 2.0.1.

I didn't even realize that there has been an update. Any idea why am I not getting it?

It seems you don't have Nuvola Player Stable PPA in your APT sources.
(Beta PPA contains only beta builds.)

You're right, I've overlooked this slight, but important, difference and I was expecting that a beta channel will always have newer code than a stable one.

Thanks Jiri! Is there any chance that this patch will land in a PPA deb for Lucid?

The fix will be released with NP 1.1.2. The crash is fixed, but login
via Google account still doesn't work (bug #905368), so I don't plan
to patch current package for Lucid.
