Binary package hint: amarok
The status bar on the bottom left of amarok shows HTML code for the song that is currently playing, rather than nicely formatted text. See included screenshot.

I can confirm. I've had this problem for a while - in Kubuntu edgy and now feisty.
Its only when playing music however. Text displays correctly when doing other tasks, for example loading a playlist.
