Bug Description

1) Lubuntu 12.10 Final AMD64 HDD install
2) xorg 1:7.7+1ubuntu4
3) I expect the boot splash to appear sooner after pressing the selection from grub and sooner during the boot when only OS image is installed on the HDD.the
4) When booting blank screen then finally a brief boot splash of seconds appears then mouse cursor appears then the login screen appears. These events occur when choosing the image from grub or from a single image install.
