Bug Description

It could be handy in some cases to be able to launch pantheon-terminal with a command running. Please add such parameter.

Hello David Gomes,

I'm a newbie here.

I come across the issue like Raphael Isemann reported on #1066462. Terminal will not pop up even if I set "Terminal = true" in a *.desktop.

Could you kindly help me,any suggestions are great!

Thanks in advance!

It does not work for me:

ferran@asus:~$ pantheon-terminal -v
Pantheon Terminal 0.2
Copyright 2011-2012 Terminal Developers.
ferran@asus:~$ pantheon-terminal -h
Usage:
  pantheon-terminal [OPTION...] File

Help Options:
  -h, --help Show help options
  --help-all Show all help options
  --help-gtk Show GTK+ Options

Application Options:
-s, --shell= Set shell at launch
-v, --version Print version info and exit
  -e, --execute= Run a program in terminal
  --display=DISPLAY X display to use

I've tried using -e argument, but it only opens a new window of pantheon-therminal. I've tried with and without full path; and even tried a "touch /tmp/file" to see if at least it forks the process, but doesn't.

Is this feature broken again? Using version 0.2.3-0~r501+pkg16~precise1.

Only the -h option seems to have effect. -d, -e, -s and -v are ignored: a new terminal window appears but no command is executed, the working directory is not changed or no other shell is used.
