devhelp won't start

Bug Description

Binary package hint: devhelp

when i enter devhelp into a terminal it says:
devhelp: symbol lookup error: /usr/local/lib/libdevhelp-1.so.0: undefined symbol: _ZTV24nsGetServiceByContractID

Thank you for your bug. Ubuntu doesn't use /usr/local, that's something you built yourself out of the distribution system, not a bug

Thank you for your reply!

Before, I had a self compiled version of devhelp on edgy. Then I did an dist-upgrade. I'm now on feisty and I also reinstalled devhelp via apt from the regular feisty repository!
Now I've got the message mentioned above.

Shouldn't the old version of devhelp be overwritten while the dist-upgrade?
