It would appear you have an issue with your sdb1 mount, which is where /var/lib/mythtv resides (which is causing the issue with the package installation)

From the dmesg log (it is completely filled with these.

FYI. Had a bad sata cable. Did 'sudo apt-get -f install' and all went
