Binary package hint: gnome-panel

when i am starting easy ubuntu first it is showing some busy icon and the it will not start after that no any downloading package will start it will show to correct this problem

i got same bug...

i had power crash while installing some packages,,, now when i cant install any progs now with add and remove or with synaptic package manager, it shows error:

E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem.
E: _cache->open() failed, please report.

i too am having the exact same problem as Mladen Trisc (without the power failure), and nothing i do ever seems to solve it! i spent hours on the net in forums and what not and nothing solved my problem. I also had the same problem when i was using 8.10 and i was not able to solve the problem then either! does anybody know why this has happened and if there is even a solution? I'm sorry i cant help anyone but this is sooo frustrating!!!!!
