Can you give me more information please. Try to run Foto from terminal like this:

foto /path/to/your/image.jpg

The image path must be valid or foto will crash (it's another bug i haven't corrected)

I have got crashes, but they are related to clutter and my video driver. The clutter based image viewer is still experimental.

apparently it runs ok when there are not more images on the folder, like in this one:

but it crashes when there are several images on the folder, like in this case:

No, the problem is not that

The problem is this:
"FotoThumbnailPane.vala:96: Unrecognized image file format"

Probably I'm reading a not suported image format, needs more investigation.
