Bug Description
Hi.
My graphics are running slower too. I ran glxspheres in the terminal
and it ran at 14.4 frames/sec. It used to run at aroun 50f/s on
my intel hd4000 gpu and I have a seconed gpu on the
same computer and it used to run at 150 frames/sec and now the nvidia geforce gt 640m is
runing at around 98 frames/second. I use optirun glxspheres to run on nvidia gpu.
know I cant play quakelive.com on Mint 13 mate maya becouse the graphics are so
choppy. I can pay the game on Ubuntu 12.04 on another partition of the same
computer.
My Jupiter aps is not working right. When try selecting any of the graphics
button I get nothing. The monitor app will not allow me rotate display and
is showing a refresh rat of 0 Hz.
My mouse is buggy too.
All this stared around update around October 11, 2012.
My system:
Mint 13 64bit mate maya on Samsung series 7
chronos np700z5c optimus laptop using Intel
ivy bridge hd4000 Intel gpu, and geforce gt 630m gpu. Using i7-3615QM
cpu. 8Gbytes ssd and that where Mint is.
Ubuntu, and Windows are on the one Tbye hard drive.
Hello.
I go my performance test back up to faster speeds by checking the
high performance button in the Jupiter app. So all glxspheres test work right now.
but graphics are still slow in quakelive and mouse buggy.
In menu>system tool>log file viewer> jokey.log.1 is this line:
2012-10-16 16:27:34,751 WARNING: modinfo for module cedarview_gfx failed: ERROR: modinfo: could not find module cedarview_gfx
I tried installing "cedarview- graphics- drivers: i386" with the software manager
but manager hangs up. Symantic Package Manager tell me I
have to remove header file to install it.
I read at this link "https:/ /bugs.launchpad .net/ubuntu/ +source/ xserver- xorg-video- fbdev/+ bug/1034470? comments= all"
the a person "Wal (trees5353) " fix his problem with the GMA3600 driver install but on mine I have hd 4000 gpu.
I am wondering to wait until software manager can install it.
