2.0.17-1ubuntu1 in yakkety in debian this is a virtual package

In this case the virtual-package is a wrapper to eigen3-doc [2], which is described there [1].

This means eigen2 is replaced with eigen3 in Debian-Jessie. And translation-error is gone (history!).

Looking at the Debian-Package-Tracker (PTS)

reveals more secrets about it's existence in Debian (oldstable).
Actually there should be no reason keeping this any longer in Ubuntu.

This would need a new bug-report then.
