Bug Description

gnome-keybinding-properties version 2.18.1 (System->Preferences->Keyboard Shortcuts)

ubuntu feisty kernel linux-2.6.20-15-lowlatency on i686
running on sony vaio vgn-tx650p

multimedia function keys are mostly correctly configured on default install.
however, 'vol -' and 'vol +' keys both show up in gnome-keybinding-properties as hex value 0x9f.

there is no 'Action' listed that really fits with the 'av mode' key, so i was trying to use it as 'Volume Up,' and discovered that the 'av mode' key also shows up as 0x9f in gnome-keybinding-properties when pressed.

the hex value for 'vol +' that appears in gnome-keybinding-properties is 0xb0, but i have yet to discover any key which, when pressed, actually shows a hex value of 0xb0. when i press the 'vol +' key, it shows up as 0x9f.

bottom line is that i can only use the multimedia function keys to lower volume, but not to raise it because it is not possible to modify the relevant accelerator key settings for 'Volume Up' in gnome-keybindings-properties.

also, the right 'Alt' key does not seem to have any keybinding associated with
it; i.e. it does nothing.
