I had similar problem. I downloaded mp3 file (right button click -> save target as; on other site) and doubleclicked finished task on "Download Statusbar 0.9.4.6". Beep Media Player opened and started playing the song. After few seconds firefox just disappeard. There were few tabs opened, one with acroread plugin, right before I had closed tab with mplayer plugin.
I've got Firefox 2.0.0.3 with following extensions:
Download Statusbar 0.9.4.6
Favicon Picker 2 0.3.4.1
FireFTP 0.95.2
Gmail Space 0.5.6
Tab Mix Plus 0.3.5.2 (single window mode activated)
User Agent Switcher 0.6.9
Web Developer 1.1.3

If you want I can upload crash report (34MB) later. I tried once but there was an error - something about proxy - and I have no time to try to send it again now.

Please send it, but open a new crash report for your own crash. It makes
easier to track down each problem.

Thanks in advance.

I looked for it in firefox but didn't find.

mozilla-acroread
firefox-gnome-support
mozilla-plugin-vlc
totem-mozilla
flashplayer-mozilla
sun-java5-plugin

The version is associated to Ubuntu 6.10 with all the updates before the
exit of 7.04 version. Now I updated to 7.04.
