Bug Description
Please backport amsn 0.98.9-1ubuntu1 (universe) from quantal to precise and older releases.
Reason for the backport:
=======
Amsn was already in Ubuntu but was dropped because it wasn't maintained and had unpatched security vulnerabilities.
Amsn is now back in both Debian and Quantal and the security bug has been fixed.

* precise:
[X] Package builds without modification
[X] amsn installs cleanly and runs
[X] amsn-data installs cleanly and runs
I'm building it in my ppa right now

The changes 0.1-dev aplay_for_ sound.patch that will be fixed upstream or in debian too, see [1] patches/ 08_use_ aplay_for_ sound.patch:
* debian/control:
- Build-depend on libfarstream-
- Depend on libfarstream-0.1-0 and xdg-utils
should be dropped, the only modification is 08_use_
* debian/
- Use aplay from alsa-utils instead of play from sox for sounds
