Bug Description
I was listening to music with totem player.
Then I started update-manager and clicked install.
This error occurred after that.
The weather indicator disappeared on me so it might be related to that.
After clicking to report the bug, apport tool mentioned something about ubuntu currently using the 2d rendering when it should be using the 3d rendering. I have been wanting to have 3d running with my ati radeon 7970 graphics card, but I understand the catalyst drivers for 12.10 aren't out yet. The video players are all very slow and if I go full-screen with them, the video frames are choppy because it can't deliver the frames fast enough.
