top panel fragments when minimizing all windows (show desktop)

Bug Description
With Unity 6.8.0, when I minimize/restore all windows (ctrl+alt+d or in alt+tab switcher), a visual fragment is displayed for a few seconds below the top panel and at the side of the launcher.
My machine makes use of the i965 driver.

I'm using Unity 6.8 too, with i965 but I just see a very very faint flicker on the top right when I hit Show Desktop. Is that what you're hinting at?
