Your onboard sound was detected fine, as shown by these messages. Please
describe the symptoms of your problem, rather than guessing what the cause might be.

What is in /proc/interrupts? Does it make a difference if you boot with pci=noacpi?

Try booting with each of these parameters, in sequence, and see if any of them
make a difference:

noapic
nolapic
pci=noacpi
acpi=off

Do you have snd-intel8x0m loaded too? (Please provide the output of lsmod.)
If so then please try removing snd-intel8x0m and let us know if that fixes
the problem. To keep that module from being loaded again, do:

    echo "snd-intel8x0m" | sudo tee -a /etc/hotplug/blacklist
