Trashcan is mentioned to be empty if files will be deleted on USB stick

Binary package hint: nautilus

Might be related to 12893...
If you delete files on USB stick trashcan icon still indicates that it is empty respectively does not increase number of files. Apart from that it is not possible to empty trash on right click. However if you open trashcan in nautilus the deleted files will be shown and can be removed by click on related button.

Yes, I use the applet one in the right lower corner of the default
configuration.
