I also had the same problem, opening minitube and starting the video, the screen remains black.

I think minitube has come to the end of its shelf life. I get an error when trying to play anything:

"Error downloading https://www.googleapis.com/youtube/v3/search?part=snippet&type=video&maxResults=50&q=test - server replied: Forbidden"
