the installation seemed to proceed correctly but at botloader installation, a dialog appeared stating that the GRuB bootloader had failed to install - this was a fatal error.
a logfile was produced and sent automatically.

I have unmarked it as a security issue since this bug does not show evidence of allowing attackers to cross privilege boundaries nor directly cause loss of data/privacy.
