Bug Description

Both GooglePlus and GooglePlusGames match on the same URL.

This is causing users to get prompted to install unity-webapps-googleplusgames when visiting http://plus.google.com

Meta apps such as google-plus-games can't be shipped through the packaging system. They need to be packaged without ubuntu-webapps-metadata. As for how we install them then? First possibility is the user can just install them from application lens/software center. It may also be possible to specify google-plus-games as a dependency of unity-webapps-googleplus

Fixed in r:23 to lp:~webapps/+junk/GooglePlusGames by stripping Ubuntu-Webapps metadata, causing the package to not exist to the webapps autoinstallation system (though still available for manual installation). Perhaps a followup bug could be opened "GooglePlusGames meta app is difficult to discover": one solution might be to introduce a dependency unity-webapps-googleplus->unity-webapps-googleplusgames.

Steps to verify:
After updating apt-cache with new GooglePlusGames package, and ensuring ubuntu-webapps-update-index has run navigate to plus.google.com. unity-webapps-googleplus should offer to installa nd unity-webapps-googleplusgames should not.

Regression potential:
Very low
