Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox

From the Attached Crash Report:
Distro Release: Ubuntu 6.10
System Arch: i686
Package (version): firefox (2.0.0.3+0dfsg-0ubuntu0.6.10)
Source Package: firefox

Original Description:

Firefox crashes frequently with Rhapsody plugin

I listen to streaming music using the Rhapsody Firefox 2 plugin all day. It frequently crashes Firefox though. At least once per day, sometimes more often.
I can't reproduce it at will, but mostly it goes something like this:

* Begin playing songs from rhapsody.com
* At some point the tunes stop - it gets "stuck"
* Click to play the next track
* crash *

Thank you Tim for taking the time to report this issue.

That rhapsody plugin is a third party plugin? If so, can you indicate where can it be downloaded from.

Retrace done (just for the record, as clearly seems that the crash is caused by .mozilla/plugins/nprhapengine.so from the third party rhapsody plugin).

We are going to close this bug report because it looks that it was caused by a third party plugin which we can do anything about it, since it is closed source. You might want to report it upstream directly.

Thank you
