it's also caused by following js from this side ...
javascript:jumpToClip('http://ondemand.orf.at/zib/playlist.php?id=zib2&day=2007-04-11&fname=zib2200_2007_04_11.wmv&offset=00:00:00.0');

Can you please attach the full crash log to this bug as we need that to process this bug any further. Also can you give us a step by step way to reproduce this?

1st: I thought I gave a full crash log... how could I do this?
2nd: the big problem is: I can reproduce it myself. When the crash happens, I could reproduce crash every time (start firefox new, try this link and crash). Now after new system start the problem don't show up.
So if you need this log, I think there is no chance do find this bug at the moment.
But please tell me for next time: How can I get a full crash log?

If you whant go further....
So far I found out that from php script I got a asx(xml) file:

<ASX version = "3.0">
        <TITLE>ZEIT IM BILD | </TITLE>
        <AUTHOR>ORF</AUTHOR>
        <COPYRIGHT>ORF</COPYRIGHT>
ZEIT IM BILD
        <ENTRY>
                <REF href="mms://stream5.orf.at/zib/zib2200_2007_04_13.wmv" />
                <STARTTIME value="" />
        </ENTRY>
</ASX>

And proper behavour is that firefox ask me what application it should use. VLC in me case. And it works.

The crash report that probably was generated during the crash should be
located at /var/crash/ . If it is still there, please, upload it to [1]

You can follow our hints to obtain a backtrace while reproducing the
crash at [2], or from an existing crash report at [3].

Thank you, we will reopen this report when you have more information at
hand.

Seems that the crash is produced by libvlc ; which plugins do you have installed for handling video streams?

you might want to try with MozPlugger

this is a vlc bug. totem-mozilla or mozilla-totem should help you. Anyway, reassigning to vlc
