Dynamic playlist does not work in v3.3.0

Hi,

I don't know if this has been reported before, but in the newest version (3.3.0-dev, according to the About dialog) the dynamic playlists plugin does not seem to be working ---in the old version, it used to work just fine.

Do now, as opposed to the previous version, I need to have a Last.FM account in order to make it work?

Steps to reproduce:

*Open exaile
*Open a new playlist (if necessary)
*Enable dynamic playlists (through the toggle button, since there doesn't seem to be a menu equivalent)
*Add one song to the empty playlist
*Play the song

Expected result:

Other songs, by related artists, are added to the playlist

Actual result:

Nothing is added

There's nothing in the resulting log to suggest a missing python module or something similar.

I've tried it too. Doesn't work in version from ppa:exaile-devel/ppa repository.

Try this patch against the trunk.

I can confirm that, with the dynamic.patch file applied to the trunk, dynamic playlists work properly.

Thanks Rocco, that seems to fix it for me as well. Pushed in r4325

Dynamic playlists will actually work correctly without this fix as long as you have an item in the player queue (which is different than queuing a playlist).
