Icons dragged from the dash are blurred

Application icons dragged from the dash are rendered below the blurred background of the dash and the blurred background of the launcher, but above the dash's textured frame. This effect makes it feel like the icon hasn't been successfully dragged, and it makes me disbelieve that the icon can actually be dropped on the launcher. A screencast is attached.

Hi Andrew,

I see you added the "raring" tag. Does this mean this still occurs for you on 13.04? I ask because I'm unable to reproduce this on two different 13.04 machines. Also, the screencast movie just shows one icon. Do all icons do this for you?

Sorry folks, but as part of the bug clean up ahead of 16.04 I'm marking this as invalid because it affects an Ubuntu release which is now unsupported. If you can still recreate this bug in a supported release please do open a new bug and we can triage it for consideration in the 16.04 development cycle.
