Bug Description
Testing Quantal, I have been noticing that the newest grub2 (versions 2.00......) do not present an option in the GRUB menu to boot into Windows Vista (dev/sda2); they do, however, offer booting into the Windows Recovery partition (dev/sda1). In consequence, to allow dual-booting Ubuntu/Vista I have to continue to use grub2 in Precise as the GRUB master (as versions 1.99..... correctly offer both /dev/sda1 and /dev/sda2) or hand-craft a 40_custom file to add the Vista entry at the end of the menu.
The first is problematic, as running a multi-boot machine with both Precise and Quantal leads to multiple GRUB entries for Quantal in the Precise GRUB menu (another bug?). The scond should not be necessary if os-prober is doing its job correctly.
