Skype keeps restarting after quit, and crash window shows up

After upgrading skype-wrapper to version 0ubuntu6.5.2~precise4, I encountered a problem that I cannot quit Skype after I started it. Skype keeps showing up after I quit it. The "skype" process ID is different every time, and sometimes the "skype-service" process ID changes too.

After a certain time, a crash report window may show up and say "/usr/share/skype-wrapper/skype-wrapper.py" crashed with "OSError in_execute_child(): [Errno 9]". The traceback is like this:

I tried to remove and reinstall skype-wrapper and python-skype but the problem still presents.

Does this only happen when starting skype directly with skype-wrapper, or also when you start it from the messaging menu?

The first time I started Skype from the launcher, and the second time I started Skype from the messaging menu after reboot.
I got the problem both times.

1. Autostart skype-wrapper is enabled in the Skype-wrapper settings?
2. How do you close Skype (from within Skype or the Quicklist)

1. Yes. Enabled by default.
2. I tried to close Skype from the top bar Skype indicator and from within the Skype main window. Not tried from the launcher quick list.

Previously I found that skype-wrapper left setting in the start-up programs list after removal, and I deleted it. Today I re-installed skype-wrapper but found it unable to auto-start on start-up. It did not re-add itself into the start-up list.

Then I manually input "skype-wrapper" from gnome-terminal to start it and found some python info. I logged it and attached here. Not sure if it's useful.

BTW, the manually started skype-wrapper quit after I quit Skype.
