fails to load "cannot get popup component"

Binary package hint: quick-lounge-applet

I have quick-lounge sitting on the panel with 21 entries. While it works just fine on Debian Unstable, it fails to load in Ubuntu Feisty:

Is this symptom still reproducible in 8.10 beta?

I should probably say that I observe this with a vertical panel, I have approximately 15 icons on the applet in three columns and five rows.
