Bug Description

Just after upgrading an Acer Aspire One winbook from 12.04 to 12.10 beta 2. A 9/25/2012 daily live image operated well on this hardware. There is an ongoing complaint about problems upgrading flgrx-updates which persisted from 12.04 to 12.10. I may try a re-install from scratch to see if that makes any difference.
