Bug Description

Every time I start Firefox, sites ask me for cookies I have been accepting for years. This bug cropped up somewhere after 3.5.0-14 and -15.

It still reads the information from the stored cookie, but still asks me. Very annoying.

Thanks, but as requested in the bug reporting guidelines (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MozillaTeam/Bugs), please try to reproduce without addons. You have a significant number of addons installed.

In future, please try this before reporting a bug. A link to the guidelines is provided on the bug submission form in Launchpad

It appears that the Cookie Manager addon was the culprit. It's probably not known as incompatible with FF 15.0.1.

I will advise Mozilla.

If anyone else is having this issue, disable Unity Websites Integration and Ubuntu Firefox Modifications.

Well, I can assure you that ubufox does nothing with cookies. I can quite believe that the Unity Webapps addon breaks it though. We've only started seeing this type of issue since it was added to the seed.

I re-enabled ubufox without recreating the cookie problem. It seems the other is the culprit, as I've enabled all my other addons without incident.

affects: firefox (Ubuntu) → unity-firefox-extension (Ubuntu)
