webboard does not allow to post to pastebin.com

Binary package hint: webboard

webboard fails to write to pastebin.com. The box gives could not paste to pastebin.com

This is from ~/.xsession-errors :-

File "/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/webboard/webboard.py", line 236, in on_button_browser_clicked
    command = ['gnome-open', self.url]
AttributeError: WebBoard instance has no attribute 'url'

Is this symptom still reproducible in 8.10 beta?

Hi Daniel,
 Thanx for following up, yes its still reproducible but slightly changed now.

While I no longer get the that error but I still get an error that text is not able to publish to paste.ubuntu-nl.org

There is nothing on the console.

Hi I can also confirm that webboard is failing to post. On the status bar at the bottom of the window its says "Could not Publish the text at paste.ubuntu-nl.org"

paste.ubuntu-nl.org does no longer exist

Thanks for your bug report.
paste.ubuntu.nl doesn't exist anymore and pastebin.com doesn't provide any external API so I doubt we will ever support it and I will close this. The currently supported server is paste.debian.net.
