Bug Description

Since my machine has been upgraded from Edgy to Feisty, the colors displayed on my console tty (tty1-6) are not displayed other than shades of gray. Specifically, it was noted that the shell's PS1 prompt is only in shades of gray and the output of `ls --color` after the output of `dircolors` has been eval'ed. Colors appear correctly on gnome-terminal. Feisty updates were last performed April 11.

I'm not really certain what affects this. Perusing other console-related bugs, I've attached `/etc/default/console-setup'.

I this still an issue on Feisty?

Cannot reproduce on Hardy.

Also, is this an issue if you add a new user and log into that users account? In that case, look for differences in your login-scripts (.bashrc etc.).

I suspect this is a duplicate of bug #118906
