Messed up display during boot of USB live key

Bug Description

While booting my PC (http://wiki.ubuntu-it.org/CarlaSella/lshw) with a live persistent USB Key with Ubuntu Quantal Beta 2 (http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/20120926/quantal-desktop-amd64.iso) after the purple background with the white Ubuntu logo I get a messed up display, cannot do anything, I hear the startup sound but everything is so messed I cannot continue with startup of Ubuntu, see attached picture.

I think the problem is due to my Nvidia video card.

This isn't a bug with the installer (ubiquity) rather as you suspected rather something with the Xorg environment. Subsequently, I'm moving the bug to xorg.

This bug is a duplicate of bug #1043518.
I solved my problem with today's ISO: http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/20120929/quantal-desktop-amd64.iso.
