[feisty] changing user locks mouse

Bug Description

when i switch to user b while user a is still logged on, user b can't use the mouse, it is simply locked to the middle of the screen. keyboard works.

i'm using feisty-daily build 20070409.1 on an amd64 machine.

Same here, on an i386 with a touchpad.

I noticed that going back to the first X session using Ctrl+Alt+F7, *moving the pointer* and then going to the second session using Ctrl+Alt+F9 fixes the issue for the session. If you don't move the pointer on the first session, or if you go to a console instead of the first X session, this doesn't work.

ah, i can confirm that going back to the first session, moving the pointer, and then going to the second session unlocks the mouse.

Bug 60544 is exactly the same, but has been occurring since Edgy. I don't remember seeing it on Edgy on my side.
