Bug Description

Hi,

Since upgrading to 12.04, I've been having issues with my speakers: they making a permament hissing noise (sort of like static buzzing) and they sound really tinny.

The headphone sound is worst, it'is realy crakling.

I tried to mute / unmute all mixer channels (via alsamixer), but it dosen't changed anything.

Thank you
