Bug Description

I recently installed Torchlight as a part of the Humble Indie Bundle 6 though I couldn't even get the game to run. Therefore I uninstalled it and Ubuntu Software Center completed the uninstallation with no errors reported though no files were removed.

I first noticed this because Torchlight was still in the applications menu. So I had to manually delete it from /opt and remove the launcher at /usr/share/applications/. I couldn't uninstall it through apt-get either since the package "torchlight" wasn't installed.

Description: Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS
Release: 12.04
Package: torchlight 1.0+2012+09+18a-0ubuntu1

description: updated

So any one knows how to uninstall the game? Maybe the update will install after the uninstallation.

Since I couldn't uninstall it with apt-get (it already was uninstalled) I simply removed the folder from /opt and removed torchlight.desktop from /usr/share/applications/. So there has been an update? Do you know if it runs better now?

I didn't have problem to install or uninstall the previous version, but I had problem to install the last update.
I had problem with installing the last update and I couldn't finally succed with this:

sudo dpkg --force-overwrite -i /var/cache/apt/archives/torchlight_1.0+2012+09+26-0ubuntu1_amd64.deb

Anyway nothing changed, it crash when use portal like before. I heard they solved the fullscreen problem with Unity, but I use Gnome Shell, so nothing changed for me.
