If the log message is a problem, you can disable that feature in CCSM > OpenGL > Framebuffer object.

Disabling it will generally reduce graphics performance (assuming it's working). If it's not working as the message suggests, then that's not an issue.

Whow, that was an easy one. I disabled the setting as suggested, got rid of the log message and it still works.

Thanks a lot.

I'm using Quantal and found that this bug affects visual performance on my videocard which is integrated NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE. Another words, the image on the desktop freezes for a while. It is noticeable when I move windows or watch video.
When I uncheck the framebuffer object option in CCSM -> OpenGL plugin the visual experience improves, but is still far from the ideal. It becames acceptable only when I disable Unity plugin, but it is ridiculous not to using it. May be it is the driver's problem. I consider use the latest version from official NVIDIA site which is 304.60.
The version installed on my machine now is 304.51.really.304.43-0ubuntu1 (nvidia-current) and Compiz version is 1:0.9.8.4+bzr3407-0ubuntu1
