Assigning to Michi as the related code seem to have been introduced by commit 661.2.1.
Please bounce back if I'm mistaken.

No, looks like that was me. This built without complaint on my 64-bit machine. Looks like it's broken for 32-bit builds. I'll have a look first thing in the morning.

btw. this breaks our PPA (and autopilot tests) so a quick fix would be greatly appreciated.
