Launcher not showing in auto-hide mode

Launcher is not showing in auto-hide mode on an nvidia twin-view setup (dual monitor) after the latest nvidia-current drivers update. I've tried the guest account to check if the problem was in my configuration but is system-wide.

have the same bug... after update nvidia-current to 304.51 (and only that package)

panel have no reaction to mouse move (both in 'LeftEdge' and 'TopLeftCorner' configuration),
but it appears while I press 'meta'-button and work correctly

Also, the "sticky border" option when you move your mouse between both monitors doesn't work, witch may be a cause or effect of the same bug. The system is not detecting than the mouse is close to the corner of the screen.

Wish it gets solved yet, probably a bug in nvidia drivers and not unity since I've found some old bugs than looked exactly the same and they were also linked to driver updates.

so, the temporary solution is to downgrade to 304.43 and disable source for apt

Today there was an update for the unity package. In the change log it mentioned something about "border detect" so I thought it may be a fix. No way. Also, I had unity installed from the "unity revamped ppa" to allow permanent menus in the unity bar and that also got broken since the official unity packages doesn't allow that option.

If it works for any of you please tell me here. Otherwise I suppose we'll have to wait until the next unity or nvidia update.

unfortunately, after upgrade unity (with libs) to 5.16.0... bug is still alive :(
