Bug Description

Testing Quantal Live version. Screen corruption with an nVidia GeForce 8600M GT (dell inspiron 1520). Reproduced also with an nVidia 8600 GTS on a desktop PC.

More details please. Describe what you see leading up to this, how you escape from it, any thing unusual you did during install, etc.

I see the Ubuntu logo with the dot booting the system, then I heard the drum roll sound and the system ends with screen corruption (see the screenshot). So basically, it get screen corruption just when X start.

Using ALT+F1 I've been able to get a textual terminal and launch apport for colletting the files I attached.
