after applying latest updates, global appmenus are not appearing on the top of screen.

Bug Description
Symptom: updated my quantal test system to pick up the latest packages, and now there are no longer app menu's available on the top line of the window. Not able to figure out how to get at an applications menu items. Other symptoms: when minimizing a window, it appears to close.

Its actually just a build issue so not a real bug (relief). Its already reported as bug 1053288 so I am marking this one as duplicate. I do believe that this may have actually fixed since I can't reproduce it anymore. The issue happened for me on Friday.
