Ubuntu One hangs on "file sync starting...

The Ubuntu One client keeps saying "File Sync Starting..."
Also, the "Subscribe" button in Rhythmbox for Ubuntu One doesn't work.

I don't know if its' related but syncdaemon-exceptions.log contains this (after removing all devices and setting up U1 again):
