Avoid listing upstream packages

Bug Description

Some upstream packages translated in GNOME are listed as uncomplete.
On the other hand, Kubuntu-Doc is not listed at all (I understand it might not be a priority, though).

Would it be possible to remove or show a warning about the GNOME packages?

Despite our best efforts (periodic messages on the ML, messages on our wiki pages), people keep adding suggestions to stuff done upstream.

(As a PS, a fix on Launchpad and new features and focus for Rosetta would be great.)

Hi Pierre,

The idea of the stats is to show the status of translations of the default Ubuntu installation.

1) For OEMs and regular users, this gives them an idea of how well translated Ubuntu is in a particular language
2) For translators, this gives them a view on their progress, the work left to do, and the templates they need to focus on next

The distinction between upstream/downstream templates is irrelevant to 1), and if we were not listing upstream-maintained packages, the statistics would be inaccurate. For 2) you have to also consider that there are teams that translate first in Launchpad and then send translations upstream, so if we'd remove those translations, we'd leave them in the dark.

In terms of Kubuntu docs translations, they are not there because they are not part of the default Ubuntu installation. To see the status of Kubuntu docs, my recommendation would be to go to Launchpad as usual, as the stats webapp is intended to narrowly focus on the relevant packages for Ubuntu translation.

I understand your point of view as a translator, but for the reasons above, I'm going to mark this bug as Invalid. I hope you understand it and please keep submitting any bugs you notice, they're really helpful!
