Bug Description
Binary package hint: kdm
Steps to reproduce
1. Choose K menu->Switch User->Start New Session. vt8 will be available with a new login dialog, do not login.
2. Go back to vt7.
3. When unused session on vt8 dies because of the timeout, the screen flickers.
It appears that vt8 session is assigned to the screen when it dies (kdm_greet process) and after it have died the screen is assigned back to vt7.
This bug seems fixed in Gutsy.
Another issue seems related to this. Giving the command /etc/init.d/kdm stop in vt, the screen switches away from vt and displays Kubuntu usplash theme (or simply a black screen).
