Bug Description

Description: Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS
Release: 12.04

eog 3.4.2-0ubuntu1.1

When a Image-Viewer window is maximized by clicking on the square icon, after a short delay a "Close Window" tooltip pops up and stays on top of the screen, above other and new windows. The tooltip is near the position of the mousepointer, except when viewing a .png with surrounding transparant area. Then the position is near top-right of the image area, where the mouse-pointer enters. (See attached example: balloons)

The tooltip disappears when the mousepointer hovers above one of the window icons (minimize - maximize - close) of any (even non-eog) window that is not maximized. (In this theme, those icons are to the right), or above the dot-icon to the left.

Hovering over the window-icons at the top of the screen with a maximized window has no influence. (These icons are to the left. I never understood why, it is very cumbersome)

This behaviour can not always be repeated. Maybe it has to do with mixed viewing of .png / .jpg. Maybe it has to do with some status of the image; when an image is opened and behaviour is normal for that image, it will stay normal for that 'session'.

Clicking on the maximize icon when the top-right of the window is in the lower-left part of the display has the effect of minimizing the window.
