Bug Description

Postgres-9.2 is said to have a much better performance. We should run the demos using rev. 9.2 and see

  - whether anything breaks
  - what kind of performance improvement that yields (if any)

If there is a performance advantage to be had, postgres should be upgraded to rev. 9.2 on the MF cluster control node.

We don't really have the resources to investigate this at the present time, and it's not really a pressing matter.
