Bug Description

Ubuntu 12.10 Beta

When I go to choose the desktop environment at log in I can not select the top 'GNOME' option. All other options are clickable.

A suggested workaround from the Ubuntu Forums by user jfernyhough is; "Workaround: edit ~/.dmrc and change Session= to the one you're after."

As far as I can tell any mouse click on the first two session options passes through onto the login fields rather than the session selection box.

Another workaround is to use tab to select the correct session (spacebar once on it).

Still not fixed. I cannot select any session now. I can use tab, then spacebar but it still only starts in xubuntu mode. The mode I normally run. I cannot select GNOME, Unity or KDE.

This is definitely not fixed in unity-greeter 12.10.4-0ubuntu5. I absolutely cannot select desktops. Do we need to start over with another bug report?

I can confirm that this bug is not fixed, just clean installed 12.10, equiped it with LXDE and others, none are selectable.

It's indeed not fixed. I don't see why it was changed to Fix Released when nothing is fixed...
